KERASTASE DENSIFIQUE review

I have finished my box of 30 densifique and i'm still v happy with it.
I love how it make my hair fuller. not sure abt new growth but my boyfriend say it seems to be working when i asked if i should purchase another box.

Great eastern woman run

This year, i took part in the Great Eastern Woman 10km Run for free!
My sister is a agent and her colleague couldn't make it so my sis manage to persuade her to give me the singlet so that i can run with her (actually my condition to my sister is that no singlet no running) :p  Last year, i registered and paid for her but she put "aeroplane". End up i ask my ex-colleague to run with me but i gave her everything for free. not very nice to ask ppl to join you for run (as a replacement) and make her pay right?

I was quite surprised that i can run below 1 hour (58min) without running for close to 3-4 months? and not hitting the gym. I didn't push myself very hard during the run because i have a big blister underneath my big toe and another 2 blister at my ankle. Stopped at each water point etc..

Something different about this year GEWR, there is medal for 5km too!!! last year i run 5km :( no medal. anyway, this is my first medal for non-competitive race, adding it to my collections! Actually my collection of trophies (since pri sch) was gone when i shifted house. The box that contain my trophies gave way and all of them dropped out and shattered into pieces. was so sad that i threw all away.

I have started using Laneige snow bb cushion and i kicked out my bobbi brown concealor from my make up regime. Love the natural look and feeling happy that my complexion is better.

Pre-Birthday trip to Phuket

I was away from 23 - 26 Oct for a 4d3n stay at Phuket with +Marcus Sim. Ended up missing out flight and going home only on 27 due to food poisoning. Marcus was hospitalized at Bangkok Hospital Phuket and almost had to do surgery as recommended by a province's doctor. -.- will explain more about the drama in the later part. Happy items first!

Day 1

We arrived at the airport and purchase a full day trip to Phi Phi island + a free full day trip to James bond island and Hong island. Price: 5600 Baht. We think it is really worth it since our 2 days will be occupied where lunch is included. Took a 30 min taxi ride to The Westin Siray Bay Resort and Spa, our home for 4 days~

The view is magnificent and the banner of my blog is the view from the Horizon Pool during sunset. The next photo is the view from our room, very comfy bed, toilet and balcony with tanning pod.

                                   

                                   

Then it's us waiting for the shuttle bus to Phuket Town. As Westin Siray is located on Koh siray, an island on its own, there isn't much attraction there other than exploring the sea Gypsy village. For the convenient of the hotel guest, shuttle bus are provided to Phuket Town and Central Festival on alternate day. 

Didn't take much photo at Phuket Town. What can you do there? we went to the supermarket at Robinson and bought tibits,wine and toiletries. Ate at a very ulu shopping mall beside Robinson, ulu because there is no customer at all. 0.0 if you walk further down the road, there is one stretch of seafood stalls like zi char. looks good but didn't dare to try because we don't want to risk falling sick for the next 2 days. There is a movie theatre right opposite Robinson and MK restaurant too. If you wanna have massage, there are quite a number of massage parlour which cost around 200baht for 60 min of body massage.

Day 2

Trip to Phi Phi island. woke up at 6 am, had breakfast and the coach will fetch us from hotel to the pier where we took a passenger craft there which took around 1.5 hours? (very long and tiring) I shall let the photo do the talking.

Once we reached the hotel, we went to the pool for a swim.

 Dinner in hotel. 400 baht for tom yam goong with glass noodle. cheap cheap.

Day 3 -  James bond island

 From 1500 baht bargained till 1000 baht for 2. bf say thats my birthday present.

 Posing like a pro. most of the time, there is a guy who will paddle for us.

 Entering the "cave" or the hole beneath the island.ceiling of the hole is very low so we have to lie down on the canoe. pretty cool experience.

 At night, we went to explore Patong town and had our seafood dinner. The night life is very happening, bars, clubs, pingpong show, muay thai etc. Next time if i ever go phuket again, i will stay at Patong.

 

on the last day, we had breakfast and checked out around 12pm and i almost wanted to smuggle the long pillow! too comfy and i have yet to find one in singapore ):

Went to explore Central festival, bf had a hair cut at 400 baht. Chill at a cafe before its time to travel to airport which is when the drama begin....

Once we reached the airport, he started t had diarrhoea for a few times followed by feeling cold and dehydrated. not forgetting cramps. so i ran around for help and was directed to the jetstar officer. We brought him to the medical centre at the airport and check if he is fit to fly. wasn't fit so we have to check-out and take the ambulance to Thalang hospital. 

Arrived at 7pm. waited till 9/10pm for diagnosis and he suspect my bf has appendicitis and requires surgery. -.- obviously my bf is suffering from food poisoning because he wasn't having any lower right abdomen pain. Luckily, his hospital doesn't have any operating theatre. phew* (anyway, the doctor doesn't look like a doctor. He was wearing a polo tee and loose cargo pants with slipper.)

was transferred to Bangkok Hospital Phuket, the nurse and doctor look professional, the observation ward is clean and well maintained. Doctor told us that my bf is suffering from food poisoning, not appendicitis. i can't imagine if the doctor at thalang hospital has a operation theatre and my bf has to be opened up for nothing. Bf was admitted as his stools has blood and i stayed with him in 3b ward where it has a sofa bed for me, just like a medical suite.

My system lagged and i had diarrhoea only the next day and i vomited on the airplane. As my boyfriend is unwell, we went to SGH to check again. He was admitted and i was placed under 2 bags of drip. I was given 1 day of MC and just nice its my birthday. Quite sad that im not feeling well on my birthday and my bf is in hospital. Anyway, he didn't tell me he was discharged and surprised me with birthday cake when i was having dinner with my family. make me feel so loved. thank you baby <3
